Computer Animation is a
challenging application in Computer Graphics & Visualisation. This symposium
is designed to provide a forum to the researchers, educators, and
practitioners in this field to share their opinions. The symposium aims to
identify presentations on Key research issues, review the current
state-of-the-art developments, and outline future directions. This, embedded
with the current research being undertaken in industry and academia, will
provide coverage of the salient aspects and sub-areas of Computer Animation
within the field of visualisation, computer generated graphics, and beyond. Authors are encouraged to send
their submissions electronically to the chairperson in PC based WORD format.
Those author(s) wishing to provide abstracts, or full papers via conventional
mail services, are asked to provide 3 hard copies of their work to the
chairperson of symposium at the address specified below. Computer Animation
video entries to the Computer Animation & Special Effects Show,
accompanied by a short paper, will be considered for the presentation in this
symposia and the film festival portion of the conference. This symposium
seeks original projects that are either completed, or still in production
stage, that deal with, but are not limited to, the following topics: ·
