These works encompass the concept of the necessity of speed in food photography. The digital camera allows for a photographer to see the dish in its fullest form and account for changes that are necessary without compromising the integrity of the dish at hand.

Sarah Epstein is a student studying Journalism and Public Health at Lehigh University. She has enjoyed photography for as long as she can remember, and got her start in photography using film. Since switching to digital photography, Sarah has come to value the speed and visualization of the digital camera, because it allows for corrections and more variety in comparison to film photography.
